The Washington Traumatic Brain Injury Strategic Partnership Advisory Council was created from House Bill 2055 approved by the Washington State Legislature in 2007. See Chapter 74.31 of the RCW
The council includes 25 members who are appointed by the Governor to advise on Traumatic Brain Injury issues in Washington State. All TBI Council meetings are open to the public.
There are currently four (4) vacant council positions; a Physician with experience with persons with a TBI, a Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist with TBI experience, a representative of a Native American Washington tribe and a family member of an individual with TBI.
